Meet Our Columbus Dentistry Team

Tiffany – Dental Assistant

A dental assistant for over five years, Tiffany joined our Grove City dentistry team in February 2006. She is a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Her major was radiology and expanded duties. Since joining us, she has completed many hours of additional education from the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies.

Michelle Dozer- Office Manager

Michelle, our office manager, has been a significant part of our team since 2005. As a graduate of the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, she has obtained valuable knowledge in the customer service area and continues to practice this with our patients on a daily basis.

Having been in the dental field since 2002, Michelle has also attended many continuing education classes for Obstructive Sleep Apnea, Neuromuscular Dentistry and Invisaline.

Aside from her position here, Michelle enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children by taking family trips and outings. She is also very active in her church and children’s school and is attending Columbus State Community College where she is working towards a degree in Business Management.

Carlie Apperson- Dental Hygienist

Carlie is a graduate of West Liberty State College where she earned her bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene in 2005. After graduation, she returned to work full-time in the dental office where she had worked as a trained dental assistant throughout college. While practicing as a clinical dental hygienist, Carlie also received additional training in administering Dental Anesthetics for pain control and continued to participate in advanced dental aesthetic technique training with both Invisalign and Lumineers. As a result of her experience with both general and cosmetic dentistry, she contributes a unique aspect to our dental team. Carlie is confident in addressing both general and cosmetic dental concerns with her patients and enjoys aiding her patients in achieving their desired smiles. Although deeply involved in the dental practice in Zanesville, in late 2009 she relocated to Westerville and shortly after joined our team in April 2010.

When not working as part of our dental team, Carlie enjoys spending time with her boyfriend Mike and their two children Owen and Alekai. Fitness and nutrition are her main interests and she and her family enjoy staying active and traveling. After attaining her dental education, she has remained interested and involved with fitness and enjoys being involved with Mike's personal training career.

Lafe Brownfield- Dental Hygienist

Lafe is a graduate of The Ohio State University Dental Hygiene program. Shortly after graduation in 2005, we were fortunate to add him to our team. “It is an honor to work for an organization such as Sheridan Dental. I was able to experience a number of different practices in the Columbus area during my year of temporary placement. By far, Dr. Sheridan is the most passionate, open-minded, and leading edge clinician and this is reflected in everything he does.” Lafe adds a unique aspect to our practice and a varied skill set. After obtaining a Masters degree in marketing, he has pursued a number of additional personal education channels. The Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies is always a welcomed and embraced experience.

When not engaged with work, Lafe enjoys a number of activities with his wife Ashlie, and his daughter Jillian. Motorcycle riding and boating are two of his strongest interests. We look forward to working with Lafe as much as he looks forward to the growth and opportunity received from working with the exceptional Sheridan Dental team.

Quiana Robinson - Treatment Coordinator

Working in the dental field since 2003, Quiana has been the treatment coordinator at Sheridan Dental since 2006. She has completed continuing education courses in the areas of advance customer service and dynamic team concepts from the Las Vegas Institution of Dentistry and clinical Invisalign training courses. Currently she is attending Columbus State Community College, where she is working towards her degree in Human Resources.
