Determining If You Are a Candidate

Moving Forward

The steps involved with getting a dental implant include the first surgery, where your implant is attached to the jawbone, a second procedure to place the abutment (a small rod that joins the implant to the false tooth) and temporary crown, and the office visit where your new replacement tooth (dental crown) is placed.
