Invisalign® is a series of clear plastic aligners that gently move your teeth into their proper alignment. Now you know what Invisalign® is, here’s how Invisalign® works:

Using the latest in computer imagery, Ohio Invisalign® dentist Dr. Sheridan will take pictures of your teeth. With these pictures, Invisalign® software will map out the ideal position of each individual tooth. This information will be used to create your customized Invisalign® aligner trays.

Every two weeks you will return to our comfortable Grove City office to have your new set of aligners placed. With each new set of Invisalign®aligners, your teeth will gently be moved closer to their most optimal alignment. In this way, your teeth can be completely straightened without the discomfort of wire and bracket braces, often in as few as 12 months.

Helping Invisalign® Work

To make sure your treatment is as quick and effective as possible, you will need to wear your Invisalign® aligner trays 20-22 hours a day. Aligners can be removed for tooth cleaning and eating, but should remain in place at all other times. Being consistent in wearing your aligners will help your treatment period produce the most stunning results in the fastest time possible.
