Do you take emergency dental patients?  

Yes.  We love helping emergency dental patients. We consider it part of our calling as “helpers” to be a place of relief for those without a dental home to help them. 

 

I have a fear of the dentist, what can be done?

We have sedation options like Nitrous Oxide, and Oral Medications that will relax you and make your visit to our office as easy as possible. 

 

How old should my kids be before their first visit to the dentist? 

 A child’s first real appointment should take place at three years old. 

 

Do you recommend Invisalign to help crowded teeth? 

Yes, we love Invisalign!   We invite you for a complimentary exam to determine if you are good candidate for Invisalign

  

Can I get Invisalign from my dentist or do I need to go to an orthodontist?

What insurance do you accept? 

Our office accepts most insurance companies. Please call our office to make an appointment. 

 

How can I tell if I have gingivitis or periodontitis (gum disease)? 

You may notice bleeding gums, a bad taste in your mouth, bad breath, sensitive teeth and more.  One of the problems associated with Periodontitis is the symptoms often don’t appear until the condition is of a serious nature. 

 

What types of teeth whitening are available? 

We provide custom teeth whitening for our patients.  We offer a very inexpensive “Whitening for Life” program that allows you to continue to whiten once a year with no added fee. 

 

How do I whiten my teeth? 

There are several over the counter products for teeth whitening.  The best and fastest results are from your dentist.  We can determine which concentration of the whitening gel is best for you, as well as how long each day you should wear the whitening trays.

This would depend on whether your teeth are being damaged due to some activity such as grinding or clenching your teeth.

Time for each procedure depends on what is needed.  You will be notified in advance of the time required to provide you with the best quality of care. 

 

How frequently do I need to see the dentist for preventative care?  

Each patient is different, but the most common frequency is every six months. Our hygiene team will work to determine the best way to get you to excellent oral health and keep you there. 

 

What is the best way to replace a lost tooth?  

The best way is dependent on many factors.  Please allow us to provide you with a complimentary exam to help guide you in the direction that is best for you.  The best way is not always the most expensive. 

 

Will my insurance cover my visit? 

Insurance companies have different coverages which are dependent on the plan provided by your employer. Our administrative team members are experts at helping our patients understand their dental insurance coverage.  

 

How do I find the best dentist to perform my procedure? 

A referral from a friend who has a dentist that they trust with their own dental health is a great start. 

 

How long before I can eat after my procedure?  

This is entirely dependent on the procedure done on that day.  If the area was anesthetized, then we usually ask the patient to wait until the numbness wears off.  For many procedures there is no waiting period and the patient may chew as soon as they leave the office. 

 

What is the best way to maintain my teeth?  

Good Oral Hygiene, good nutrition, and regular visits to your dentist will put you in a great position to keep your teeth for a lifetime.
