These photos show the before and after of a woman who had crowns on her front teeth for several years. She thought they looked unnatural and showed too much gum when she smiled. Taking advantage of more modern materials available, we redesigned her smile using all-porcelain crowns. Minor adjustments were also made in the shape of her gum tissue to give her a new smile.
Porcelain crowns can transform a smile instantly. When replacing crowns, Dr. Sheridan will need to remove the existing crown and repair any additional damage to the remaining tooth underneath. He will then create the new crowns and cement them in place, taking care to create a natural shape without showing too much gum tissue.
